1. The Goodwill Bins
Items sold by the pound (~$1.59/lb). This is the final frontier of sourcing.
Strategy: Ignore heavy items. Focus on "feathers" - silk scarves, vintage tees, plush toys. A 4oz vintage tee costs $0.40 and sells for $30.
2. Private Picking
The best inventory never hits store shelves.
The Script: At garage sales ask "Do you have any video games, old toys, or hunting gear you didn't bring out?" 50% of the time they say yes.
3. Retail Arbitrage
Download the Amazon Seller App. Scan clearance aisles at Walmart/Target.
Look For: Discontinued cosmetics, specialty lightbulbs, seasonal candy - boring items people desperately search for online.
4. Death Pile Rule
If you buy it, list it. A pile of unlisted inventory is cash on fire.
Rule: Don't go sourcing until your previous haul is 100% listed.
