Selling Process

Find your product, place an Ask (your selling price)
When matched with a Bid, you have 2 days to ship
Ship to StockX authentication center
They verify, you get paid

GOAT

List with photos and condition details
Buyer purchases, you get prepaid shipping label
Ship to GOAT for authentication
They verify, you get paid

Authentication Fails

If your item fails authentication:

StockX: Item returned, you pay return shipping + penalty fee
GOAT: Item returned at your expense

⚠️ Never sell fakes. Both platforms ban sellers permanently for fakes. One failed auth = account at risk. Multiple = banned for life.

Maximizing Profit

Check both platforms: Prices differ; list where higher
Factor ALL fees: 10-15% total cut on each sale
Timing matters: Prices spike on release day hype, then settle
Hold or flip: Some shoes appreciate, some tank—research trends
GOAT for used: StockX is DS only; GOAT allows used at discount

When to Use Each
