Never price based on active listings. Only look at SOLD prices.

Method: Search your item, filter by "Sold," look at last 90 days. Price at the median.

2. The 3x Rule

For sustainable flipping, aim for 3x your cost (including fees and shipping).

Buy for $5, sell for $15+ after all costs.

3. Seasonal Pricing

Winter coats sell for 2x more in October than April. Halloween costumes peak in September.

Strategy: Source off-season when prices are low, list when demand peaks.

4. Price Drop Schedule

If an item doesn't sell in 30 days, drop 10%. Another 30 days, drop another 10%.

Stale inventory costs you money in storage and opportunity cost.
